Ron Berman’s Announcement Interview on 105.9 WNLI’s The Morning Line (3/29/19)

Meet Ron

While growing up in New Jersey, Ronald Berman got to experience first-hand the slow decay of a socialist state. Politicians were corrupt; public works projects always failed; schools were mired in mediocrity. This is why Ron has been involved in Republican Party politics since he was 16 years old – volunteering, serving on various campaigns, holding various party offices: to stop the encroachment of liberties and fight for constitutionally, limited government.

After graduating high school as a National Merit Finalist, Ron went on to the University of Chicago. It was here where he encountered the foundational works of Christian apologetics and began to understand the miracle of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

While in college, Ron involved himself in pro-life advocacy working with local and university groups to arrange for anti-abortion protests. It was at Chicago that Ron came to realize the truth of the gospel and converted to Christianity.

After leaving Chicago, he attended Liberty University to devote himself to learning more about God. There, he met his spouse, Aranka. They have made their home in Lynchburg and Forest, Virginia for the past 22 years. Ron and his wife homeschool their two children, Caleb (12) and Ariana (9), stressing the importance of God’s truth as the central part of learning.

Ron and his wife own a language services business, working with international clients for translation, transcription, and editing. Ron also works in the restaurant industry.

Ron and his family are members of Life Center Church in Lynchburg.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid.” Psalm 27:1
